Hi,

I noticed on my Accentra that the air blowing out on the left side is quite a bit cooler than the right side. Is this normal or does it indicate some type of blockage ?

I am pretty good about cleaning the stove, every 2-3 weeks I remove all of the plates and vaccum and use the brush.

It's a pretty good indication of a blockage in the left-side exhaust tube. During your cleaning, are you using the wire brush thingy that came with the stove in the 2 ports behind the heat exchanger plates? The right tube (as facing the stove) is easy since it is a straight shot to the exhaust fan box. The left side ,however, requires that you push the brush way in around a 90 degree bend pretty much until your knuckles are up against the mouth of the tube itself.

If it's really blocked, you might need to use a plumbing snake or something similar to break through.

Thanks ! I suspect I haven't cleaned that passage thoroughly. Now that I know the temps should be the same, I'll focus on getting that opened up.

My left side has been cooler since the stove was new. You can check the left passage but don't expect miracles.
