Forgot to mention, unit is fairly quiet specially on whisper mode. We're happy with the stove. Flames depends alot on the outside Temps. Easy to do routine cleaning, unit slides on track fairly easily.. Here's pic of stove with outside Temps 35. Stove room temp 68
I've had my accentra now for 7 years. I burn between 3-4 tons a year. I use to have wood but decided to change over to pellet as the wood was starting to be to much work. This unit pumps out a good amount of heat. The maintenance isn't that bad but it is more than a wood stove. I do a general cleaning about every 3-4 weeks which takes me about 15 minutes. After I burn 2 tons I do a thorough cleaning that takes me about an hour. Here is a video clip of my stove working.@Dabug
How is the accentra 52 i working for you? Is it worth it ? I’m leaning towards buying one of those for my 1,400 sq ft weekend getaway. I have an ZC open fireplace and central heat. Due to the small fireplace opening, I can only get a pellet insert, and I like what the accentra has to offer (on paper). I am curious about how noisy it is... how’s it on maintenance, and the flame size ? I like a real full flame. It’s hard to find pictures or videos online of this unit by owners . Thank you for any feedback you can offer. I hope you’re enjoying your pellet stove.
