Harman Burnpots...Favorite tool for scraping? Pics please!

What's your GOTO? Currently I use the stock supplied tool and a long screwdriver, but am looking for better. Am considering some chisels and punch but would like others opinions!

When she's burning I use the stock scraper.when doing my 7 day cleanings my dad gave me a curved solid steel tool.its perfect like 6 inches long and was I missing some stuff that the stock scraper wasn't hitting well enough in the bottom.i think the tool is used for opening crates lol

It's about 5/8" and the bar is long enough that I can put my other hand on it and push down for more down pressure. It works very well. The Haman tool is too flimsy to put enough down pressure on it when doing a full cleaning and chipping off the "speed bump".

I use a small wrecking bar on my old Invincible, but I've noticed the burn pot on my yet-to-be installed Accentra insert has as steeper slope that will require something with more of a bend in it. I guess I'll use the Harman tool until I can find something better.

When burning or cool I use the stock Harman tool. I give a 10-15 second scrape daily when burning. When cool I will also use a slot screw driver and a nail to clean the holes.

Picked up this Craftsman set near the end of last season, based on some positive feedback here. Definitely much better than the Harman scraper tool. The ends are very sharp and make cleaning much easier, and they do a much better job cleaning in general.

Gasket scraper.....craftsman is what I have but really any gasket scraper should work fine. Works Way better than the stock tool.

Pick up a Harbor Freight wood chisel about 1". Stick it straight down and twist. Works like a champ. Then use it to scrape too. You can even grind one side to a sharp edge. Little investment. Great tool.

The Harman tool won't touch the bump well or glaze if you get any. I use a straight blade screw driver for that. For scraping under the fire I use the Harman tool though.

Gasket scraper.....craftsman is what I have but really any gasket scraper should work fine. Works Way better than the stock tool.

I also use the Harman tool when burning and a Craftsman slot screwdriver when cleaning. I really never use the other (triangular) end of the Harman tool. I use an old paintbrush to clean the top fins. The Harman tool scraping across those fins is nails across a chalkboard for me. I use the paintbrush to clean the whole interior.

Use this set of Crafstman.. I like the different sizes especially the smallest one which get's those tight burnpot corners.
Also use a steel wool pad for the heat exchanger.. don't have to have my head in the stove as I
can feel every spot better on the exchanger.

Pry bar can scrap on or off. Harbor freight has em. For xchanger i use a welders brush.

It works great on my Harman Accentra. Once I've done the heavy work with the pry bar, I follow up with the Harman tool to clean the corners.

Think we can all agree that the Harman supplied tool has it's limitations..
I find myself just using it to periodically to Pull loose Ash from the burnpot down to the ashpan.
