As fatalber posted a few weeks ago, I too just bought a used older style (2 dial) p38. It's been burning about 48 hours; and I'm thrilled with it. I'm planning to install a thermostat, but I haven't yet.
I have two questions,.
First, about the convection blower... I've been burning it set between 2 and 3. Every now and then the blower stops blowing and then a little while later it starts up again. Is this normal?
Second, I'm also wondering if anyone knows where to find a manual that deals with this control unit?
