I run my P43 on room temp Manuel. I Set it to the "Off" position this morning to clean it and it wouldn't shut down. Tried switching the toggle to auto and it still didn't shut down. I opened the hopper and began removing pellets by hand and noticed that it was finally shutting down. Never happened before. 6th season for the stove. Any thoughts ? MM

Harman stoves will not shut down until the ESP in the exhaust stream reads 90::F. It does not happen too quickly.
Can take 1/2 hour or longer.

Thanks D. It ran over an hour after I switched it off with a full flame and continued feeding no sign of shutting down until I opened the hopper and began removing pellets. I know it stops feeding when the hopper cover is open. I've been using the stove for 6 years. Never happened before. But I think your right , it may have something to do with the ESP sensor. I think I'll try removing and cleaning it.
