I believe I have the correct answers but would greatly appreciate input from others more knowledgeable than I.

I have a Harman PC-45 Corn Stove. I'm told when burning CORN you use the burnpot grate with the smaller holes (.0625" or 1/16" diameter). That part number is: 1-10-724208

You also use the Combustion Intake Weldment with the smaller diameter opening, part number: 1-10-02677W

For burning PELLETS you use the burnpot grate with the larger holes (.125 or 1/8" diameter). That part number is: 1-10-724108.

You use the Combustion Intake Weldment with the larger diameter hole, part number: 1-10-08516S.

For PELLET use, and using the RED wire ESP, the DIP's are set to 1-2-5-7-8 "ON" and 3-4-6 are set to "OFF".

My 2 questions:

1. Is my above info correct?

2. What is the hole diameter of the Combustion Intake Weldment for the PELLETS? Since I have a spare or two of the smaller hole intakes, I can save some money by opening up one of them.

Thanks!

Your part numbers above are correct. In addition, for corn burning, the pot end plate is different (2-00-724107) and you use the stir rod (3-00-02676) that fits through the end plate.

Once my stove is shut down I can measure the two hole diameters for you. The pellet one is quite a bit larger, roughly double the diameter. Corn fires go out if there is too much air flow so they use much less than pellets.

Someone else will have the ESP probe info. I haven't needed to change mine and haven't paid attention to the settings for it.

Just found a good reference for DIP switch settings for the ESP probe types:

(broken link removed)

1 5/8” for corn fan opening, and 4 1/2” for pellet fan opening.

However - they do not use the same center. The corn one is set to match the center of the combustion fan. For pellets, it’s offset lower. It appears to vertically center on the cross bar (flat bar) across the fan opening.
