My Harman PP38+ has developed an odd blower issue the last couple of days. When the stove is initially turned on, the blower kicks in. The blower is clean, and spins freely with no weird noises. after that, the blower never turns back on. The auger is feeding at a regular rate, and everything else is working great. If I turn the feed switch to off, and then right back on, the blower once again turns on for a couple minutes, and then turns off again and stays off unless I turn it off/on again. I have the older style with the feed and blower knobs only, no LED's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. These Canadian winters are cold!

Did you clean the probe esp maybe he does not see enough heat

I didn't actually. I thought that controlled the feed rate as well as the blower. Since the feed rate was working fine, I didn't think it would be the ESP. I'm far from an expert though, so I could be wrong. Is the ESP difficult to remove?

Pretty sure the ESP does it . it senses stove temp. Not hard to remove. Stove off and unplugged. Remove One small screw. Gently pull out. Wipe clean . reinstall.

Well my ESP was dirty. Pulled it out, cleaned it, re-installed. No luck. Still having the same issue. I guess I need a new EMP?..........and looks like my auger just quit on me

Hard to diagnose here but, bad ESP will also cause auger not to work along with other issues. Does the auger run in test mode? I've connected my room blower direct to 120V and a fan control to run my stove...

both the auger and blower function fine when I turn the stove on. but neither run after initial start up. will the stove run if the esp is pulled and the holes plugged? might be a way to to figure out for sure if that's the problem

make sure u don't have a vacuum leak like the hopper lid not shut tight..
vacuum leak will stop everything..
