I realize that the subject of connecting a Harman XXV to a setback t/stat has been discussed in previous posts, but what really is the advantage OR (more importantly) the disadvantages. Harman did issue a bulletin stating that a certain t/stat brand is compatible with the XXV to be used as a t/stat, so does that mena that the warrantee would not be voided if the XXV was connected to that particular type of t/stat? Does the t/stat over-ride the controls on the XXV? What should the controls on the XXV be set at exactly? Can some one with some real expertise please give some input. Thank you.
