Hi everyone, I've been reading this forum for a while and recently bought a house with a Hearthstone Morgan 8470 fireplace insert.
I took it apart for a thorough cleaning/inspection. Everything came apart easily and as stated in the manual. However, when I tried to put the facade back onto the unit, it no longer stays put in its fully seated position. (This equates to step 17 on the very last page of the manual, which doesn't seem to be allowed for posting here.) There are no set screws, or ridges for it to sit on, or anything like that.
"17.Replace the front façade by simply lifting it over the opened door and ash lip and setting it back in place."
Has anyone had or heard of this problem?
