My standing pilot light won't light due to a clogged orfice. It is very fine and I don't know what to use to clean it out. Do they make a fine stainless steel wire for this purpose? Also to remove from unit I had to cut the wire to the push button igniter. Can I splice and solder and cover with shrink tubing?

Thanks
JM

I'd try a single wire from a wire brush to try unclogging the orifice.
You may get lucky with your splice, but I'd replace the entire wire.
