Looking for some help identifying an existing stainless steel insulated chimney system.
A contractor friend of ours is repairing a cabin where a tree damaged approximately a 4-foot section of chimney and crushed the cap.
Here’s what we know:
We’re wondering whether this might be Simpson DuraVent, Selkirk Metalbestos, or another manufacturer.
I’ve attached photos of the existing chimney connections and damaged cap.
Does anyone recognize the manufacturer or specific chimney system from these pictures?
We want to positively identify it before ordering a replacement section and cap to make sure everything is compatible.
Any help would be appreciated!

Here’s what we know:
- Approximately 6” inside diameter / 8” outside diameter
- Stainless steel, insulated Class A chimney
- Installed several years ago
- Appears to have a twist-lock or stamped locking-tab connection
- No manufacturer markings identified yet
- Used with a wood-burning stove/pizza oven
