My oiler quite on my chainsaw. I checked to see if the cap was vented and it was. Anyone have experience troubleshooting the oiling mechanism on these oler saws? I tried the knob adjustment but it didn't make a difference.
Thanks
the oiler may have gave up the ghost, but the good new is the last oiler I bought was @$10 a couple years ago it is an easy fix as well took about 15 min start to finish.
The first thing that I would do is to flush out the tank. Kerosene will do. My 041 did the same thing. I was amazed as to all the stuff came out. Best of luck, Ken
just curious, what weight oil are you using? are you in a colder environment?
