Can anyone identify this type of wood? I've been using it a incense. I don't usually like incense or scents but I love this stuff and want to know where to find more and know more about it.

It's light feeling, and is really stringy. It's hard to snap apart cleanly, not because it takes a lot of force but because it comes apart in strings instead of breaking. I'm not sure if it's stringy throughout all the wood or just my sample is because my small piece is close to the bark.

I found this piece in a campfire and brought some home because I loved the fragrance that followed me.

Where can I get more of it? I live in Portland Oregon.

This little piece is the only piece I have.
Thank you so much!

Cedar?

Bark looks like pine to me.

certainly cedar, it will grow in moist areas. I am sure there is lots of cedar in western Oregon.
