this is how i did it. i didnt know if this was going to work so didnt spend alot of time on it. im going to put a stainless one in like jesse in the spring. with the the flue damper the wood boiler will shut down quicker and less wood consumption. also the fire stopped creeping and stopped hitting the dump zone.

Has anyone installed a flow diverter in the heat exchanger to distribute the water evenly through the heat tubes? Maybe it's not needed, I don't know?
