Homelite XL sintered porous oil line connector

I’ve got an old Homelite XL built in ‘79 that I’ve decided to fix up. It ran ok but once the pull cord broke I finally ordered parts. A new chain, Walbro HDC carb rebuild kit, new fuel filter & lines, and duckbill valves are inbound.

Reading around it looks like I’m missing the sintered porous oil tube connector, part 69659B. I’ve whacked the reservoir to see if it’s stuck in the bottom but no dice. Anyone have one lying around? They seem to be hard to find. Maybe I’m not looking in the right places. I’m new to fixing saws and small engines in general.

Note: I’ve emailed Leon’s Chainsaw Parts to see if he’s aware of any alternative solutions - seems like he’s the Internet’s Homelite king. His site doesn’t have any in stock.

Lil Red Barn has fittings that are billed as replacements, but they look like solid barbed fittings instead of the porous tube I need.

eBay has one but he doesn’t ship to the west coast 😖

Don’t think I’ll need an entire saw - mine is complete (or will be once the rest of my orders arrive) aside from that one goofy tube.
Do you have one in a saw you’d be willing to part with?
