I'd really like to spend some time this weekend sitting by the pellet stove adjusting my mix settings.

First, should I be on program C or program D? Long story short, I'm on my second 25-PDV and the first one came from the factory in "C" and the second one came in "D".

Secondly, low fuel feed and low burn air. What's the downside of having too much low burn air? Too little? How about too much low burn fuel? Too little? I think some of those answers are obvious, but I'm not quite sure.

Finally, what heat range setting should I be tuning the fire at? Is this going to scale properly to higher or lower heat settings?

Thanks!

I THINK the general consensus is to not screw with the factory setting on those lower buttons. I know Mike Helton helps folks dial the stoves in if they have a particular problem… you may want to ask him.
