Seems like Rutland is the preferred brand but in a pinch which are good alternatives? Stores around here typically stock Meeco’s red devil or imperial..

Depends on the item, but I have not been too satisfied with the Meeco products I've tried in the past few years. That's a small sampling though. For door gasket I will only use the OEM product after some experimenting. Both the Rutland and Meeco gaskets I tried sucked. The Rutland gasket was very low density and leaked. The Meeco Gold was too stiff and leaked even worse. I used it for one fire then pulled it. The OEM gasket was perfect.
