I got some of that tape at HD today, and I was wondering if there was a preferred way to wrap it on? Would one tape diameter over the joint do the trick, or should there be a couple or more? (The stuff isn't cheap)
I have had good luck with one width but twice around and stretched really tight. I highly recommend it and is more sure of a good seal that's neat too.
Thanks. You seem to be the expert on the silicone tape. I was hoping you'd say that, because I would imagine it'll look neat, and not having seams crossing the joint also seems good. I didn't know how much it would neck down when stretched.
