How to clean baffles

When I had the stovepipe off the last time I cleaned the pipe and chimney system I observed white fluffy residue in the baffle area.

I'm not seeing any way to remove the baffles on this stove (Drolet Myriad gen1), nor does the owner's manual make mention of it. I removed what I could reach with a brush and a shop vac through the output collar but certainly much more remains. I would think that over time the baffles will become more and more self insulating, allowing less heat transfer to the stovetop and more heat being wasted up the stack. Ideas?
