How To Make Piping Floor Support?

Does anyone have any experience making piping floor supports? Can you buy them? I'm thinking maybe black iron pipe screwed into a black iron floor fitting-not sure about the top. Maybe just some pressure treated wood-the top could have a nice radius in it to support the 1-1/4" pipe. Maybe simpler is better.

I have used all manner of supports for piping. Simpler is always better. This sounds way too complicated for a residential installation. Supporting pipes from the floor means you have created a trip hazard.

What is the length of run you are trying to support?

Short run of copper, 6'?, but will have circ pump and shut off flanges. It's a tight fit, no normal foot traffic.

Use strut as high as you need, with a floor base and a tube clamp.
