I'm looking for any information on a Tarm FT20 boiler, date stamped 1980.

It came with a house I bought. It's disconnected from the brand-new gas furnace but previous owner said his father had it installed in the early 80's. It was hooked up in series with the main furnace until it was replaced last year. He supposedly used it only used it only a few months on coal until he got tired of dealing with the ashes. Looks to be complete and ready to run, Sampson (sp?) damper is hooked up, looks to be operational.

Wondering if it could also be used with wood while it's setup for coal (shaker grates)

Mainly would like to know if it is supposed to have firebrick in the chamber - there is none right now.

Thanks for any info you can provide!
