Maybe they have a consensual relationship?

Any closer and they may be engaged. It is consensual. Both have consented to lay in front of the stove until Spring. I tried to explain the whole clearance to combustible issue with them. Didn't seem to care.

That’s why the cat is behind the dog. As long as the dog is not on fire the cat knows they are ok for minimum clearance!
