My pellet stove has a Acumen model RX05 and runs on 4 AA batteries.
The milliamp thermostat receiver seems to be dead, but how do I test it? If I switch it to “on” what should I see on my multimeter? Steady voltage to stove, short impulse?

And will any milliamp thermostat work for test purposes to make sure the stove’s thermostat circuit is OK?

Thanks in advance.

Yes any milliamp tstat will work.
