Hi All,
Well, I drilled, chipped, chopped, grinded, sanded and buffed it, but I got the *&% Darned horizontal 10" long, 6" wide section of that Freakin' Tee connector pipe through the chimney, and connected to the vertical section tee, and 15' section of flex pipe in my chimney.
Now, I have a $235- "Vertical Telescopic Kit", which is a 40" section of dual walled stove pipe, which extends up to 6+ feet, which I don't think I need.
Couldn't I use SINGLE walled black stove pipe, to connect the top of my Pacific Energy stove, into the 90* DUAL walled elbow, which connects to the above mentioned tee into the chimney liner.
Would the single walled pipe fit into the dual walled pipe?
I need the Dual walled 90* elbow, at the top, for safe clearance to the ceiling (14") away.
But I would like to use SINGLE walled pipe (two 2' sections) to get some additional heat from it.
I wouldn't mind returning that telescoping section, and get my $235- back, you know?
What's the general consensus on this, please.
Thanks!
