Hey guys - just broke down an old 032 today - was pulling good compression (nearly 160psi) and piston was clean from exhaust port. Removed cylinder and piston for full inspection and all good. But, looking at the cylinder cast markings, all I see is the following numbers 928/6B - is the an aftermarket cylinder or stock? Thanks! Cheers!

Thanks Tom - I sell saw parts and haven't had one of these apart for sale yet - didn't want to advertise as a good OEM cylinder if it was an aftermarket unit. Cheers!

used saw parts i guess sir? when I was in salvage buis we just advertised parts as take offs so wether Andreas or jahns custom out west made it the perspective customer knew that running it had a 160 psi compression and was a running take off rated used part from whatever specific model.. thought I was pretty much covered ..

Yes - used saw parts Tom - if I can't find other info the the casting number, I'll likely sell as you indicated - thanks for your thoughts - Cheers!
