Have a quick question regarding the installation of a Petit Godin Stove that has a 4" flue out the back. I have a 6" chimney that it needs to connect to that is through the wall up about 8' high. Do I run a 4" stove pipe right from the wall to the stove or do I keep the 6" pipe going until I am closer to the stove and reduce before the stove rather than at the wall. Any help with this would be appreciated.

anytime we installed a godin we ran 6" pipe down to the stove and and reduced at the stove
