The clearance for the oslo f500 in the corner with the heatshield and double insulated wall pipe is 9 inches on each side. If i were to put it in the corner, I would def have enough clearance but the issue I am worried about is that the right side of the stove would be a window there. Even though the clearance would be ok, is it an issue that the window is there? Also, if i have it cornered to I have to lock the side door if it is far enough away from the wall? What are my options here.. Also if I didn't put it in the corner, I would put the stove in the middle of the wall to the left of the corner. I would have plenty of clearance on both sides, the only problem here would be that I feel like the stove will be sticking out further. The stove is going to be going into a breezeway that is off the open kitchen floor plan. I would be venting the stovepipe up the ceiling and out the roof

The Oslo is primarily a side loader. As long as clearances are honored the installation should be ok, but in a corner install as described the side door needs to be locked. The middle of the wall sounds better for this stove. What is the width of the breezeway? What is the floor construction, wood or slab?

thecurrent floor construction is like pergo flooring i believe, I would be putting a hearth down under the stove. the length of the room is 11 feet and the width of the room is 7 feet 9 inches. I attached a picture of the breezeway looking into it from the kitchen.. Don't mind the fridge because that isn't normally there. The stove would either go along that long wall or in the right corner next to the window. I would love the look of the corner better but if I have to do it in the midldle, then thats what I have to do.

On the straight wall the hearth will project about 50" into the room if double-wall connector pipe is used. That allows a 3'7" passage area past the hearth edge. Locating it where the refrig is and parallel to the wall will take advantage of the additional depth of the large entryway. I think that is how I would orient it, maybe a foot off the window wall. That way if you want to add a blower it will blow directly thru that entrance.

which my wife and I don't mind, that still leaves you with room to pass by. But with the corner install, there would be way more passage area, I just wouldn't be able to use side door which isn't terrible. So it would be okay to have the stove near the window as long as it has a clearance of 9 inches?
