I have a roughly 15 year old SL-950TR-IPI-E, recently it’s been igniting fine and then after a few minutes the flame will go out. Later after a few minutes it will relight itself. While the flame is out, the pilot light stays on.

I can’t tell if I need to replace the control module or just the thermocouple. Anyone seen this specific behavior?

Those symptoms sound like the thermopile (TP) is failing. To verify, you need to have a multimeter to read the milliVolts generated by the TP.
