I'm on holidays in Northern Newfoundland in Gros Morne National Park - World Heritage site. Look it up on google. The vistas are stunning, the food & company is great. But man it's cold. It gets down to the 40's at night and you can see your breath some days. Just about everyone burns wood here since this is an Island and the alternative is oil, electric & propane. They had a couple of frost warning in July! Mind you this is unusual even for them.
Took a boat tour in a fjord today in driving rain but when the rain cleared up what a sight! I'll upload pics if I can. In the meantime here is some eye candy...

For you hunters, plenty of Caribou and the highest density of Moose on the planet. About 5 per square miles. Just had my first moose burger!
On a side note, not far from here huge iceberg the size of is now traveling on the East side of the island. It's the size of Manhattan and there are tours to go see it. Unfortunately, I wont have time to go. But the people I talked to who went said there are seals & waterfalls & huge chunks of ice breaking. Quite a sight...
