I recently came into possession of this Jotul 118, and have a few questions please.
Am I missing the bottom burn plate or is the wavy channel piece it ??
Should there be a gasket (as pictured) between the base and the body ?
Lastly, do the side burn plates mount on the front two or rear two mounting tangs ?

I don't recall the stove having a separate burn plate. And I thought all the seams including the base channel were cemented, not gasketed. The top is gasketed for removal when cleaning.

Ok, understood I'll use some stove cement on the lower parts when i bolt them together. Think I'll add a little sand to the bottom plate to help protect the old girl. Thank you for the quick response
