Started to do some work outside this morning and decided after an hour of sweating in this intense humidity that I'm ganna take it easy today! Well I came in to relax and immediately became bored so I thought I'd post up some pictures of what I've been up to the past few weeks.

Cut up some tulip and red maple blow downs.

My company did work for a developer who unfortunately took down a ton of trees by bulldozing them all into a huge pile. The easy to get stuff has been gotten, but now I'm picking out the good stuff left behind in the mess.

I have a maple out back that is split all the way down the trunk. It's leaning over my neighbors fence and locked in by other trees. No way to safely drop it. For now I put a chain around it to keep it from splitting apart. I'll rent one of those hylifts and bring it down in the next few weeks.

Nice stacks! Very impressive especially considering the 9month time frame. I hate it when those maples split out like that, we have a couple that look just like your pic.

Very nice indeed! You've made progress in just 9 months time! im curious also how many cords CSS so far?

Great looking stacks there. Where about you located in pa.

Looking good...

Very nice work Wilhelm. Too bad you had to dig for some of that wood. Like you stated though, the easy pickings go fast. But, sometimes the best wood is not the easy to get stuff!

Nice neat stacks. Impressive for only 9 months! I like the "Land of misfit toys" bin. :) gotta do that.
