Burning Hunk
Oct 3, 2013

Cambridge NY
Last of mine moved from the barn to the house. Nothing but shoulders left except 2 bags of vermont hidden in the middle so wifey doesn't burn em.

How about yours? Post em if you got em (broken image removed)

that looks like enough to make it to spring, no? though Cambridge is up north NY so maybe not.

good luck.

nice looking stash

With your burn rates, do you figure that will carry you through? Down to 30 bags of indecks here with lumberjacks and indecks still available. My favorites, Heartlands, are about a two hour ride away.

How are supplies locally?

Availability is hit or miss, most places have 10 bag max. I burn 2 bags per day but have just now kicked it over into room temp and am burning less. I figure I have 35 day supply left and then oil boiler remainder. Unless I find some Prestos at lowes then I may grab a ton for $208. Damn this winter!

Down to 5 bags of Turman's with a ton of *something* coming Friday. Dealer has American Wood Fibers but I'm pushing for Hamer's if he has them by then.

Down to 62 bags of Okanagans. I started the season with 218 and sold 12 to a local in need last week.

:-(

Have 34 bags of mostly Somersets. Using about 2 bags a day between the 2 stoves, but my house is tight and when those 50 degree days arrive I burn less than 1 bag a day. I'm betting I make it to April first. Warmer weather will take me further, but I usually kill all the heat by then anyway. If I see anything at HD I may grab a few bags, but I'm feeling good for now.

i have appx. 4 tons left. stove shop down the road has many tons on hand. but i won't be buying till spring or when the snow is gone.
