Hello
Just trying to keep up with the joneses so we picked up a 50k BTU LP Fire Table for the deck on sale at Lowes until Aug 30 th this week since there was only 3-4 left in our local store.
I also hear that August will be cooler than normal this year???
Shop Bond 30-in W 50,000-BTU Black, Brown Steel Liquid Propane Fire Table at Lowes.com

We also got the 5% additional discount with the Lowes credit card. However because it was so inexpensive, it comes with that Blazay lava rock.
So to make it look like we paid a lot more than we did, I thought some nice ruby red lava glass to give it more PeeZaz!
Glass crystals and beads for fire pits and fireplaces with gas burners

However not sure what size or shape of Fireglass to get?
Sizes
Small - 1/4" or Medium - 1/2" or Large - 1" ???
Shape
1. - crystals
Glass shards that are slightly tumbled
2. - Beads or Pebles
Tumbled completely to give more rounded edges
3. - Reflective
Glass crystals that have a mirror like layer on one side that reflects light better

So what do you have or like best?

If it was me, i'd use a rock tumbler and put some glass from some beer bottles in it. But i'm not that trendy. :)
The glass has to be high temp resin glass not the regular stuff. :)

I finally ordered the FireGlass

I choose to get 2 colors for a mix of Premium large 3/4 to 1" zircon in Midnight Blue and Ruby Red :)
See bottom row in pic below.

They were out of the blue so I got the Ruby Red and Rain Drop (Clear) and setup them up and fire them up!
The FireGlass absorbs and radiates the heat better and does not get brittle like Lava Rocks or Ceramic Logs!!!
