Saw a place that we liked today and may be putting in an offer. Existing wood stove in basement on hearth vented into masonry chimney. Stove is a PE. Pretty sure part of the stove pipe is installed backwards. Not worried, that could be changed.
From the chimney cap, is it possible to tell if there’s likely a stainless liner in the masonry? Also, can anyone identify the type of PE stove? . Thanks
