In the basement of the home I bought is a Ponderosa Catalytic 100 P/N 6045 843/139948. It has a Birmingham tag on it so I guess that is who makes it ? I am looking for any information on it. The previous owner had been in the house for just two years and never used it (no information there). I would love to get a manual for it or just know how many BTU's it puts out. I imagine it can't be too old since it is a Cat. model. I am purchasing the Mansfield so if I can't find use for it I may end up selling it. I was trying to figure a way to use it on a hot tub if anyone has any ideas ? Thanks...love this site, learned so much !!

Trying this one out once more to see if any one has any info. on it.

I found this: http://www.barbecuen.com/faqs/atlanta.htm

and this: (broken link removed to http://www.epa.gov/swerosps/bf/html-doc/ss_brmg1.htm)

Copy this with the parentheses and search on:

"BIRMINGHAM STOVE & RANGE CO"

It looks like they were plagued with bad management and went under long ago. Apparently their equipment was good stuff though. (from a very quick review)
