LOOKING FOR UNSPLIT FIREWOOD DELIVERY TO SW CT

A couple of years ago I saw ads for unsplit firewood delivered from VT to CT. It was sold by the truckload in log form or cut but not split. Anyone have any info to pass on?

Never used them as work was plentiful and had no time to split. Now since there is no work and plenty time to split I can't find their info/phone #.

Any help would be appreciated!

Just call any tree co. Tell them Wht you want and I am sure they will take care of you.

Thanks, already being doing that for a while. They won't sell logs just split wood so they can make more money in this bad economy, I guess. After each bad storm we had this spring and summer I made lots of phone calls, no go.

Hate buying split wood in this area as all seem to split it for fireplace use only. My VC stove likes thick pieces of long wood (no comments, please!! ;-O) for best burn. I can go thru almost twice as much purchased small split wood in a winter as when I split it myself and I can ending paying more than I would to heat my 1400sq ft house with oil.....

Look on Craigslist. There are multiple listings for log length delivery in your area.
