Kind of a noobie question - I was recently gifted a used Lopi AGP pellet insert. It comes with an outer metal shell. The issue is that the width of this shell is 33 1/4 and does not fit my masonry fireplace. My fireplace opening is about 31 inches and the walls are tapered, so it gets even narrower. Can I have this stove installed without that outer shell or is it a required part of installation?
