Any one with this particular stove that has input on if this is worth the purchase. I currently have an older Sunrise that I dig but it is to small.

Oregon Woodburners Unite! Well, maybe not...OWU is awkward to try to pronounce. We need a better acronym. Welcome, smallfire! Folks here will inundate you with suggestions if you give them the opportunity, I'm sure. Post a simple floor plan or description of the home, if you can, including your expectations for the woodburner. There are a lot of great choices out there. Rick

Just givin' this thread a bump. These things tend to disappear quickly during our busy season. Wondering whether anyone else has anything to add about the Endeavor, or suggestions for alternative stoves. Tryin' to help out my fellow Bendonianite here. Rick

We've had one for almost 2 years, heating a small (~1500sqft) house. Very happy with the performance; it will take the house to 80degF if we want it to.

I cleaned the chimney a few weeks ago, and got just a small amount of fluffy ash. That's a full season's worth of burning, over 5 cords; a combination of properly seasoned wood and efficient burns.

We'd buy another.

I pretty much concur with the positive remarks above. We have a 1500 square foot raised ranch. The stove is in the finished basement and heats the entire house easily. The only glich is when it's really cold out you need to fill the stove in the middle of the night. We haven't had any problems with the stove (2nd year).

just made the purchase today, thanks all. We will redoing the hearth pictured and placing the new Endeavor on it. I will post pictures in phases.

Cool! You gonna use the existing stovepipe/chimney? Is it compatible (size-wise) and sound and clean? You gonna have this thing professionally installed, or install it yourself? Rick

The sweep is coming on Monday, If I can use the existing piping I will. I am still looking for the mason, but the rock will get purchased tomorrow. The stove I will let the pros install it. I want it to pass inspection and the piping needs to be cut back 18 inches.
would like to have it done before Thanksgiving.
