After picking up stuff at Harbor Freight (rt. 101A), I went across the street to Lowe's to check their stock. Counted about 150 tons of Green Supremes stored in their outdoor garden center. No one around to ask about pricing but I wasn't buying anyway so thought I'd pass this along if anyone is in short supply. About the same amount was available two weeks ago so maybe things are settling down a bit.

I checked a Lowes in Warwick, RI yesterday; Green Supremes where 6.58 per bag... they can keep'em, I think burning money would be cheaper!

Two weeks ago I believe the price was $5.39 a bag at the Lowe's in Amherst, NH.
That is the price it was at in Bedford, NH. I can get cheaper at Wally World (4.87) and HD (4.98 +5% off for using cc), that each of my stoves is happy with, so I declined to buy any.

Double checked Lowes Warwick RI price. Too many pellet brands with the "Green" whatever designations for me to committed to memory  Its not Green Supreme but rather Green Team. Price is $5.58 per bag on the Green Team and a whopping $6.98 for the Green Team Platinum.

Saw the same thing today at Lowes in Milford MA. Jumped on 495 for 5 minutes and dropped into Home Depot in Bellingham.

They had Green Supremes and Nations Choice Premium Hardwoods for $5.19 per bag. Grabbed a half dozen.

Need to shop smartly until the market levels out.

Yes, prices at TSC are beginning to drop a bit.

Didn't realize Wally World sold pellets. Another place to poke around.

Don't bother with the one in Concord. Was there yesterday and all they had were Pendington's at 5.30/bag. The WW in Bedford carries two kinds; Maine's Choice hardwoods for 4.87 and another brand (I have forgotten what) at 5 something per bag.

I have a couple of tons of Maine's Choice pellets and they burn fine.

I like the Maine's Choice, little ash produced and good heat. Wish I could find a place that would sell me a ton or two. Of course then I would need a vehicle to transport that much (I grab 7-10 bags from WW during my lunch break now)
