Was in the Lowes (504) in Middletown NY (10941) yesterday .. they just raised the price of Greene Teams to 6.29 a bag from 5.79... they fired the entire delivery crew and are now outsourcing it .. until 9/13/17 delivery of a ton or more of the GT's and also the 5.19 a bag green supremes is free .. it reverts to a new higher price for delivery at 70.00 on the 14th

Really? I thought I just saw my local lowes (Northeast PA) looking for more delivery guys? Not a great price on a pellet I never really cared for.

yes really I worked there for 2 year after I retired... left in May ... they fired the whole delivery crew and use an outside vendor now.. word is from my former co-workers that it is costing them 154 dollars per delivery for the new service.. they raised the delivery fee to 70 dollars from 65 but seems they are still losing money with this move... as for the pellets... yeah they are a poor price now, when they were overpriced to begin with ... looks like the only alternative at store 540 presently is pay the 6.30 for Greene Teams or use what are in my opinion inferior Green Supremes (relabeled NEWPs) at 5.19 a bag, unfortunately they no longer have the Clean Energy they had 2 years ago (Hamer hot ones) ... TSC in my area has lignetics for 5.19 a bag so I will be going that way for any additional pellets this year

Gonna have to stop by there. Are they labeled as lignetics? Also thank you for the info! They are my favorite pellets.

no you need to use a smartphone with igepir ( a free App) scan the bar code... there are still a few tons of currans in the lot and the other day the pallet inside had a mixture of brands... the bags all look the same... the bar code for the lignetics comes up as lignetics in the mauf area

I checked the tractor supply in Pine Bush today, 11/18/17. their white bagged pellets are made by curran. I checked several pallets, including the truckload they just got in. Used igepir to check.

picked up 10 more bags of the lignetics in Middletown the other day ... they are dark, small in length (which I like) and there was more dust in the bag than the greene teams (not to be confused with green supremes (newps)) ... burned some last night and the night before... good heat and little ash compared to some others ... ash was gray and fine grained

Thanks for the update. I tried pinebush too. Bought a couple bags of the Curran's. Not terrible for this time of year. Hopefully I get out to Middletown today and they still have the lignetics.

Still have the lignetics in Middletown. Everything inside the door was lignetics and it looked like 50/50 for their tons.

went to the middletown tsc the other day and scanned the bags inside the door .. could not get a manuf on these.. took a chance and bought 6 bags .. just awful, terrible... crappy... tiny pellets, many many fines and little pieces, piney smell, very sooty and ashy, black greasy soot, heat is fair but not great .. strong stay away for these until they get something better in

update on the tsc pellets in middletown was in there this weekend, to buy some stuff, mentioned to the cashier how disappointing the new pellets are, she noted she has had several complaints about them

Has anyone tried O'Malley Lumber's Power Pellets? This may be a Baltimore thing. Courtland has them $4.99/bag $199/ton.
