Hi, I'm about to go over my wood floor with LVT. I have an insert that sits on a tile hearth, the clearance is too close but I've never had a problem
I'm pretty sure that running LVT that close to the stove would destroy the LVT. I was wondering if I could cut a stove board to go around the insert and extend to the LVT amd if that would provide enough insulation? Thanks

That would increase protection a little, but still inadequately. What does the insert's manual require? What is the make and model of the insert?
