Anyone have experience with them? I bought a set for my Boston Enviro 1700 and thought I could just replace my broken OEM and go.
Did not realize the whole break-in process as you can see in the attachment.
I only saved about 20-25 dollars so I am wondering if I should return and just get the OEM - there was no break in process in my owners manual....

This is not an unusual break-in procedure to drive moisture slowly out of ceramic refractory.
 
I had a enviro kodiak for years and changed baffles a few times .I went oem and never did it say to break them in.i would maybe do 1 small fire to drive any moisture out then let it rip.
