Anyone use this stuff? I got a tube the other day because the store didn't sell Rutland. Don't know if I got a bad tube but what a runny mess. I kneaded the heck out of it and there was no improvement. Even the Mecco brand screws were crap. Are they the harbor freight of the stove supply world?

It has mostly good reviews on Amazon, but look at these two... one says too thin and one says too thick!

"...way too liquid. not even as firm as toothpaste. if you are working on a horizontal edge, it is sort of okay. if vertical, forget it! i finally used a plastic knife to catch the product & then spread it as best as possible. would never buy again. Threw it away."

"...unable to get the product out of the tube. Even with a high power caulk gun I was barely able to get this thick stuff to flow. I was only able to get about three to four inch bead and the rest went in the dumpster."

The Meeco stuff is absolute junk . The Rutland is the standard. The stuff SBI is awesome so far It has really good consistency
