Mendota vs real fyre vs fireplace xtrodinair

Hello all,
I am looking at gas inserts to replace my wood stove, and I think I am down to a few options (any others would be great). Currently looking at:
Mendota (concerned about the price and the serviceability)
Real fyre (seems simple, and I have heard good things about the constant pilot light)
Fireplace xtrordinair (don’t have enough information)

Am I missing something obvious here, how are these brands over the long term?

Stay away from real fyre..
Mendota and Fireplace X are good good brands.
I personally would go with the Mendota, as they have better log/fire setup.

I'm looking to replace a Mendota zero clearance unit with a natural gas unit and am researching. What should I look for and avoid? I'm in NYS Southern Tier so we are neighbors - almost.
