Burning Hunk

We have had a few warm days and I had to let the fire go out, so I decided it was a good time to sweep the chimneys. After about 8 weeks of near solid burning in my double door insert I got about 1/2 gallon of flaky soot and about a cup out of my basement Huntsman that I only use part time. I had no glazing anywhere.

This is the best mid season clean I have had. Wood moisture is about the same as years prior but this year I have used Anti Creo-Soot spray daily. Seems to be working.
