I am considering swapping out a very large stove (it's overkill) for this Morso2bo, that I found in my landlord's Barn. It seems to be in good condition I just need to know if I need to put caulk or the fireplace rope between the top and bottom pieces to prevent smoke. I would also appreciate other any other insight into how to utilize this stove safely, Thanks in advance
