Can any of those MORSO stoves be used as a cooktop area for slow coking stews in a dutch oven etc...

I like the Vermont Castings Aspen and the Jotul 602 that have the cooktops...( and the Pacific Energy T-4 also)
 
I have the Morso 7110 and bought an oval slowcooker. Remove the ceramic dish from the slow cooker, place on stove top (with lid on) and it works great. Just don't overfire !! I have a double wal chimney, so the lid on top doesn't get fried. Single wall may be a problem.
 
I top vent the 3610 and have cooked stews, beans etc on the stovetop
