I just got my new rapid fire and the first thing I did after putting it together was find a big nasty piece oak croch it was a three way it split it took two shots but it sliced through the middle of it next piece was a big cherry knot same thing two hits and sliced rite through so I went to the Normal stuff and wow the speed is amazing really fast 20 min to fill the back of my short bed truck and I wasn't moving fast at all I did find one piece that it wouldn't split but it was in my basement for 2 yrs because my fathers hydro log splitter couldn't do it ill keep this updated with the good and bad any questions feel free to ask

Congrats Rob. Just burn those nasty crotch and knarly ones outside in the bon-fire pit. No sense in taking a chance hurting a nice new splitter. Not worth it. Now. What is that rule in this forum? Any you guys remember?

WHAT ? A new rapid fire ,and no pics !!! you might get banned ;)
We wanna see it :)

Did you use an iPhone? The button, should be on the right (the home button). If you hold the phone up and down they are sideways. If you hold the phone with button on left, they are upside down, if its on the right (the proper way to take a wide angle pic on any iDevice) then the pic is posted normal.

You may not have an iPhone? But most who do, always use the phone up and down (button on bottom) and the pics are sideways.

Nice splitter. Those are AWESOME MACHINES!!

Yup iPhone noob sorry ill fix it tomorrow

Oh. Rob. I meant to tell you. When I get my next good size piles of blocked up wood I will give you a call and you can come over and practice with that thing on my wood. I don't do this for just anyone you know. But the only way you will get good with that thing is by practicing. Hey what can I say. Just trying to do you a favor. I try to pay it forward when I can. That is how I roll.
