I need to take my burn pot out to clean the bottom cleanout. The rod is stuck and will not move. Is it just the 2 bolts, ignitor and sensor on top or is there something else.
Just prepping myself
Usually if you loosen the screw on the bottom it will move again. Take the bolt right out and wire brush the bolt and the plate the linkage connects too. Usually its just carbon buildup. You'll have to work through the ash pan door PITA to do.
Sounds like you got some carbon buildup in the bottom where the door slides. I take a screwdriver and scrape it real good and it usually cleans it out enough where i can use the lever to open it. If stove is totally cold I use wd41 to help loosen carbon buildup. Another trick I find works for me is to pull the lever just when you shut it down and there is no fire in burnpot but is still orange usually cleans it off without opening door to scrape it. If you take burnpot out make sure you have a replacement gasket for it.
