Hello all,

I moved into a new house with a Heatilator fireplace. I have had it apart and cannot find the ID placard anywhere. The fireplace does not have a blower and I am trying to figure out what blower will work. The area under the firebox is set up a lot different than what I have been able to find online. The firebox is 42 inches wide. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bboller can help you identify it or help you find the tag. Bholler, where are you?

There will be an ID tag inside the doors. Look on the side jams behind where the screens store or on the smoke guard at the top just inside the doors. For the record, the blower is about worthless, just makes noise and moves very little air.

I have had the door frame off along with the smoke shield, the screens and the grates above and below the firebox, and there is no visible ID plate.

Every heatilator fireplace I have seen has a tag somewhere around the inside front behind the doors and screens. And like Webby said the blower won't do anything for you anyway. The fireplace still won't produce any real heat.
